NOMINATIONS FOR THE BAHAGHARI AWARDS 2025 ARE NOW OPEN!


Each year, PFIP honors outstanding individuals, networks, and organizations that lead the way in advancing LGBTQ+ inclusion in the Philippine workplace. These awards celebrate bold leadership, transformative programs, and unwavering allyship that make our communities stronger, safer, and more inclusive.

From July 15 to September 15, 2025, we invite you to submit your nominations and help us recognize the changemakers who are raising the banner higher for equality.

NOMINATIONS

To nominate an individual, group, or organization for the PFIP Bahaghari Awards 2025, please ensure the following requirements are met:

 Nomination Video Submit a video with a maximum duration of 3 minutes showcasing the nominee’s accomplishments, credentials, and contributions to LGBTQIA+ inclusion and equality. This video will serve as the primary material for judging, so please ensure it is comprehensive, well-produced, and impactful.

Google Form Submission A fully accomplished nomination form must be submitted via the official Google Form.
This includes:
• Basic nominee information
• Nominator details
• Brief written summary of the nominee’s work
• Upload link for the nomination video
• Upload of relevant supporting documents (e.g., certificates, media coverage, endorsements, project reports, etc.)
• Video Upload

 The 3-minute nomination video must be uploaded through the same Google Form. Only entries with a successfully uploaded video will be considered for evaluation.
All PFIP member companies are invited to submit nominations for the four main corporate award categories: Company of the Year, Network of the Year, LGBTQ+ Leader of the Year, and Executive Ally of the Year. Meanwhile, nominations for the Special Recognitions—including Advocacy of the Year, Bahaghari Champion, PFIP’s Choice for Ally of the Year, and PFIP’s Choice for LGBTQ+ Role Model of the Year—are open to the public. Whether you're part of a member company or a community advocate, your voice matters in spotlighting the country’s champions of inclusion.

Each nomination must include a video presentation that captures the story, impact, and relevance of the nominee or initiative. This video will serve as the primary material for judging and should be designed to highlight why the nominee deserves to be among the finalists.


GENERAL VIDEO REQUIREMENTS

  • Video Length: Maximum of 3 minutes

  • File Format: MP4 (.mp4)

  • Orientation: Landscape (16:9)

  • Resolution: Minimum 1280x720 (HD); 1920x1080 (Full HD) preferred

  • Audio Quality: Clear voice audio; avoid background noise or distorted sound

  • Language: English or Filipino

    • If in Filipino or another local language, please include English subtitles

AWARD CATEGORIES AND CRITERIA FOR JUDGING

Recognizes an organization that has made significant advances in promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion for the LGBT+ community. This award highlights a company with a strong, sustainable commitment to making a difference.

Criteria for Judging:
• Policy Framework (30%) – Established policies and benefits that support LGBT+ inclusion.
• Workplace Culture (25%) – Fosters a safe, accepting, and welcoming environment for LGBT+ employees.
• External Impact (25%) – Supports wider LGBT+ communities through partnerships, CSR, or public advocacy.
• Leadership Commitment (20%) – Company leaders openly champion and role-model inclusion and belonging.
Recognizes a senior executive or corporate ally who has championed LGBT+ inclusion within their organization and beyond. This award celebrates their role in making workplaces safe, inclusive spaces for all.

Criteria for Judging:
• Leadership Commitment (30%) – Advocates for diversity, equity, and inclusion at an executive level.
• Policy & Culture Impact (25%) – Influences policies and creates a culture that supports LGBT+ employees.
• Active Advocacy (25%) – Participates in LGBT+-inclusive programs, speaks out publicly, and leads by example.
• Measurable Results (20%) – Achieves tangible outcomes in promoting belonging and inclusivity.
Honors an inspiring and passionate LGBT+ individual who has demonstrated outstanding leadership and resilience within their organization or community. This award celebrates their efforts in breaking barriers, advancing inclusion, and serving as a role model for others.

Criteria for Judging:
• Leadership & Impact (30%) – Displays visionary, inclusive, and transformative leadership.
• Advocacy & Visibility (25%) – Advocates openly for the LGBT+ community and promotes visibility.
• Community Engagement (25%) – Engages in activities or programs that uplift the LGBT+ community.
• Personal Journey & Courage (20%) – Inspires others through their personal story and resilience.
Recognizes an employee resource group (ERG) or pride network within an organization that has demonstrated exceptional efforts to foster belonging, educate colleagues, and advocate for LGBT+ rights and inclusion.

Criteria for Judging:
• Impact & Reach (30%) – Number of employees engaged and breadth of programs implemented.
• Innovative Programs (25%) – Creation of unique, relevant, and impactful activities and initiatives.
• Collaboration & Engagement (25%) – Works with external organizations, stakeholders, and the wider community.
• Measurable Results (20%) – Shows concrete outcomes of its efforts (policy changes, increased engagement, employee satisfaction).
